This is the early address before 1910. Bermondsey Street gets
renumbered quite a few times. The address is at 50 Bermondsey Street until about
1851, then 32 Bermondsey Street in 1856 and 1862. By 1869 probably under Henry Street &
Crucifix Lane. NB; this should be in Southwark St John Horselydown, as the
Victuallers Recognizance of 1825 is in that parish, as is the census record; the
Southwark-Bermondsey boundary ran west-east along Crucifix Lane and Snowsfields
opposite and this pub was on the north side of Crucifix Lane *
