Battersea North west pub history index
The pub was demolished in the early 1970s to widen the road junction and a new pub built at 44-46 Falcon road, at the corner of Coppock Close. The second picture shows the new pub in October 2014. It lost its licence the following year having been caught selling alcohol after hours and was demolished in 2016. A block of flats has now been built on the site. *

The 1891 census shows my great grandfather John Johnston Calder as landlord
of this pub. The electoral register for 1895 shows him at the same address.
