Red House, 133 Battersea Park road, Battersea SW11

Battersea East pub history index

The Red House, is named, and at 1 Pavilion terrace in the 1871 census. As 8 Pavilion terrace is the Pavilion; I am making a rather educated guess that this is therefore the Red House. No doubt, the name is transferred when the original Red House closes in about 1853. The 1971 directory lists the Old Red House at 133 Battersea Park road SW11 which is the same address as in 1938.
