The Stirling Castle existed from at least 1827. The Three Colts is at 45 London Wall and next to Cross Key court with Stirling Castle at number 50 London Wall; and the Leathersellers buildings are at 53 London Wall.
This pub was rebuilt in the 1980s at the foot of an office block and was renamed the Scottish Pound. The name was later abbreviated to Pound and the pub closed in 2008, becoming a beauty salon. ** The address was listed as the Black Swan, 50 London wall in the 1827 and 1833 directory
