Walter George Benee is at the Volunteer, 81 Marner Street in the 1901 census

My grandmothers uncle, Walter George Benee, owned the Two Puddings in Stratford. He had made his money as a train driver in India. Ran the pub with my great grandfather and great grandmother (Maud Treacher) as they could read and write. Was a rough place according to my grandmother. *
Was there in the 1920s not sure when but was when my grandmother was a girl, by 1938 she was married.
