Mountnessing pub history index
The George and Dragon in Mountnessing has been trading since at least 1769 when Thomas Price was recorded as its keeper, it maybe a lot older. The licensee records are only listed until 1937, but it is still a Mitchells & Butlers Premium Country public house in 2017. I have eaten here many times through the last 40 years, and most likely for a Sunday lunch.
