1769-1772/Stephen Rice/../../../family History *
Stephen Rice was a licensee of the White Horse, Little
Totham from 1769 to 1772 and at Maiden St. Mary 1796 to 1799. A Stephen Rice
died at Tollesbury in 1809 aged 82. He may have been the father of Vaizey,
who was born in 1760.
TOLLESBURY parish records show Vaizey (m1760), Jacob (m1758 & 1783), Isaac
(1772) and Abraham Rice marrying and having children who were given similar
Christian names but I have been unable to find their origins - probably in
the parish of Tolleshunt D'Arcy where the parish records are missing. *
