I have found reference to the Doodle Oak PH on the death certificate of my 2 x Great Grandfathers 2nd Wife. His name is Charles Clarence Clark and he is the reporter of the death and his occupation states that he is "Master Blacksmith and Beer House Keeper of the Doodle Oak PH, Hatfield Broad Oak. This was taken from the death certificate of his wife Jemima Clark, who died on the 9th March 1860. He was born in 1822, so was 38 when he was the Beer Keeper at the Oak. **
