Thought to have been taken in 1878
Provided by Adrian Gray who informs: "The people in front of the building are (l-r) Charlie Gray, William Gray, Ann Bunting, James Bunting and Polly Gray. The sign over the door would appear to read William Gray. He was my great, great grandfather and seems to have had the place until 1891 when Ann Bunting took it. She was his daughter and I believe there is a reference to her holding it in 1903. During WW2 it was held by Gabriel Andrews."
It looks like Ann Gray, later Ann Bunting becomes Ann Butterworth.
