say he was “of the Fleece Inn” Licensed victualler of Coggeshall.
Previous to 1940 they were the publicans of the
Donkey and Buskins at Layer

Inn, Coggeshall, Essex died 6 February 1943 at Essex County Hospital,
Colchester.
Probate (Not correct) Llandudno? 31 January to Albert Edward Amos licensed
victualler and Jack Britton electrical Engineer.

Samuel Walter (aka Dick) Ames and Winifred (nee Amos) were publicans of The
Fleece 27 West Street Coggeshall for many years in approx mid to late 1940s
and late 1950s. (Surname AMES). ***
