Great Burstead pub history index
Now known as the Burstead Plough (not sure when now was!) . There are two Plough pubs in Great Burstead, one is at Tye Common which lasts until maybe 1925; and the Plough, South Green, Great Burstead which was earlier a beer house and still going strong in 1939 and no doubt the Plough, Southend road which closed a few years ago.
