I am related to William John Drain. Who was a local hero mentioned in the news clippings of 1894. The White Hart in Felsted is mentioned briefly in one of the clippings as a proposed destination for the medal ceremony, as the owner of this pub was related to the William John Drain. - I believe it was John Drain. *

Also. My actual granddad, Percival Ernest Drain died while working in his own pub in 1965, it was in the the Red Lion pub in waterfall, Waterhouse, Staffordshire. *
