Nag's Head, 44 Brook Street, Brentwood, Essex CM14

South Weald pub history index

The licensee records are only listed until 1937, but it is still a Mitchells & Butlers Premium Country public house in 2017. I drive home past this pub every day, and have done for the past 15 years. It is at the corner of Nags Head lane. Thomas Knight appears to have been licensee for about 50 years.

A listing of historical public houses, Taverns, Inns, Beer Houses and Hotels in Essex. The  Essex listing uses information from census, Trade Directories and History to add licensees, bar staff, Lodgers and Visitors.
